The grandiose Illimani, located 72km from the city center of La Paz, is doubtless one of the greatest snow covert mountains.

The magnificent Illimani possess five pieces, the southern peak (6.462mts) wich is the highest elevation, the central peak (6.360mts), the oldest report of the ascent of Illimani comes from an Italian / English expedition, the leaders of wich were William Lonway an Maguigmaz Gef.

Duration: 4 Days
Available: April - October 

Day 1:
Departure from La Paz in a four-wheeler, for about 3 hours, to the village of Una (3.800mts). Ascent to the Puente Roto, the base camp (4.500mts), trekking for 4 hours, night camping.

Day 2:
Ascent to the high camp, Nido de Condores (5.500mts) with assistance of high altitude porters, total activity 6 hours, night camping.

Day 3:
Climb to the Illimanis south peak (6.462mts) return to the high camp, or base camp total activity 12 hours, night camping.

Day 4:
Descant walking to the base camp for 5 hours in the Village of Una, then with the four wheeler 3 hours to La Paz. End of service
